Scope
This policy explains cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies used on aiengineeringtool.com. Exact names and lifetimes can change when Google updates its services or when a visitor's region and choices differ, so this page describes verified categories without inventing identifiers or retention periods.
Essential and security
Purpose: website delivery, abuse prevention and infrastructure security. Provider: Vercel and browser/network infrastructure as applicable. Required: technologies strictly necessary to deliver or protect the requested service may operate without advertising consent where law permits. Retention: provider-configured; no exact period is claimed. Control: browser controls may block storage but can affect service operation.
Consent management
Purpose: present privacy messages and remember consent or opt-out choices. Provider: Google Privacy & Messaging. Type: cookies, local storage and consent strings. Required or optional: necessary to record the privacy choice; the purposes governed by the choice remain optional where consent is required. Retention: determined by Google's current CMP configuration and policies. Control: use “Privacy choices” in the footer to reopen available controls.
Advertising
Purpose: ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency control, personalization where permitted, and measurement. Provider: Google AdSense and participating advertising partners. Type: cookies, local storage and device or advertising identifiers. Required or optional: personalized advertising is optional where consent is required. Retention: provider-controlled and dependent on the identifier. Control: use the Google consent message, footer privacy controls, Google Ads Settings, and browser settings.
Analytics and functional storage
AIEngineeringTool does not currently include a separate first-party analytics package and does not use application localStorage or sessionStorage for calculators, search or assistant history. Google may perform advertising measurement as part of AdSense; that activity is included in the advertising category above.
Privacy choices
The global “Privacy choices” control calls Google's consent revocation interface. Google shows the choices available for the visitor's region and prior selection. Visitors can also clear or block cookies using browser settings. Clearing storage can cause a consent message to appear again.
