1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to visitors to aiengineeringtool.com, including people who use its calculators, engineering resources, search, assistant and contact features.
2. Who operates AIEngineeringTool
AIEngineeringTool is the public name of this website and software service. The current website configuration does not identify a separate registered company, and this policy does not claim corporate status that has not been confirmed.
Privacy enquiries can be sent to nikhilpanchal3010@gmail.com.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, information can include contact details and message content you deliberately submit, assistant or search text, technical request information, advertising identifiers, cookies, consent choices and ad interactions. Public calculators do not require an account.
4. Information users provide
You choose whether to provide a contact message, an assistant question or a search query. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, personal, export-controlled or safety-critical information. The site does not ask for payment details, government identifiers or account credentials.
5. Calculator and engineering input data
Published calculator arithmetic runs in the browser. The application does not send calculator field values to its APIs, place them in URLs, store them in browser storage, or deliberately include them in advertising or analytics events. The globally loaded AdSense technology can still process ordinary device and page-request data as described below; it is not given calculator field values by the application.
6. AI Assistant data
The assistant first matches the question against static calculator and resource data in the browser. If no match is found, the question is sent to an AIEngineeringTool server route only to classify its engineering topic. The route does not call an external AI or model provider, does not train a model, and does not retain the raw question in an application repository.
The request may still be present temporarily in provider infrastructure or operational logs according to the hosting provider's configuration. A question included in a page URL can also remain in browser history and request logs.
7. Contact and support data
When server-side contact delivery is configured and you submit the form, the service processes your name, email, enquiry type, subject, message and any optional company, country or related URL to respond, investigate an issue, and protect the form from abuse. When delivery is not configured, the form is unavailable and the page provides the functioning contact email instead. No advertising consent is bundled with a contact request.
8. Technical, device and log data
Vercel and Google may receive IP address, browser and device information, request URL, timestamps, referring page, diagnostic events and similar network data needed to deliver, secure and operate their services. Search and assistant queries placed in a URL can appear in browser history and server request logs.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Google AdSense and Google Privacy & Messaging may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for consent choices, fraud prevention, ad delivery, frequency limits and measurement. AIEngineeringTool has no separate first-party analytics package. See the Cookie Policy for the verified categories and controls.
10. Google AdSense and advertising
The site loads the Google AdSense publisher script. Google and participating advertising partners may process device, browser, approximate location, identifiers, consent signals and ad interactions. Personalized advertising depends on the visitor's location, choices and Google's applicable settings. Advertising does not mean AIEngineeringTool endorses an advertiser.
Manage Google advertising personalization in Google Ads Settings. Where applicable, the Google CMP message provides consent, rejection, management or opt-out controls.
11. Purposes of processing
- Deliver calculators, resources, search and assistant features.
- Respond to requested support and investigate reported errors.
- Secure the website, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.
- Record and respect privacy choices.
- Serve and measure advertising where permitted.
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
12. Legal bases where applicable
Depending on the activity and jurisdiction, processing may rely on consent, steps taken at your request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or legal obligations. Personalized advertising relies on consent where required. Security and basic delivery may rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations. Responding to a message may be necessary to handle your request and may also support the legitimate interest in providing support.
13. Service providers and processors
Only providers confirmed in source or production configuration are listed here. No email-delivery, analytics, CAPTCHA, payment, authentication, error-monitoring or third-party AI provider is currently identified.
- Vercel — Website hosting and server functions: Deliver pages and API routes, protect the service, and provide operational request logs. Provider privacy information.
- Google AdSense — Advertising: Serve, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure advertising. Provider privacy information.
- Google Privacy & Messaging — Consent and privacy messaging: Present and record advertising consent or opt-out choices where configured and applicable. Provider privacy information.
14. International data transfers
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Applicable provider terms and legally required transfer mechanisms may apply. This policy does not claim a specific contractual safeguard beyond arrangements actually supplied by those providers.
15. Data retention
Calculator values and ordinary browser-side recommendations are not retained by the application. Unmatched assistant questions are classified transiently and are not stored in the application repository. Contact messages, if delivery is configured, are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, resolve the matter, and meet security or legal requirements.
Hosting, advertising and consent providers retain their own logs, cookies and records under their configured settings and policies. AIEngineeringTool does not publish an exact provider retention period it cannot enforce.
16. Security
The service uses HTTPS in production, separates server secrets from browser code, validates and limits API input, minimizes collection, and relies on provider infrastructure controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive project, personal or safety-critical information.
17. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, advertising opt-out, and complaint to a regulator. You do not need an account to make a request. Email nikhilpanchal3010@gmail.com; reasonable identity verification may be required before acting on a request.
18. EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Where required, Google Privacy & Messaging is intended to provide a Google-certified consent message integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework for advertising choices. Visitors can consent, reject, manage available options and later reopen privacy choices through the footer. Rights and complaint routes depend on the law that applies to the visitor.
19. US state privacy rights
Residents of some US states may have rights concerning access, deletion, correction, sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Where configured and applicable, Google Privacy & Messaging supplies a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or equivalent control and communicates choices using supported privacy signals, including GPP. Offering that control is not a statement that AIEngineeringTool sells personal information.
20. India privacy and DPDP information
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025 have phased commencement. AIEngineeringTool provides notice of the data collected, purposes, provider roles and a functioning grievance/privacy contact while monitoring commencement of the remaining provisions. This policy does not claim that provisions scheduled for future commencement are already in force.
21. Children's privacy
AIEngineeringTool is intended for engineering education and professional or technical use and is not designed as a child-directed service. It does not knowingly solicit children's personal information. India's DPDP framework treats a person under 18 as a child for its relevant child-data provisions. If child-data collection becomes relevant, the feature will require appropriate legal and technical review before implementation.
22. Automated and AI processing
The current assistant uses deterministic matching and topic classification. It does not make legal, employment, credit, safety-certification or similarly significant decisions about people. It does not send questions to a third-party generative-AI provider. Engineering results and recommendations require independent human verification.
23. External links
External websites and providers operate under their own terms and privacy notices. AIEngineeringTool does not control their independent processing. Review a third party's notice before giving it information.
24. Changes to this policy
This policy may change when features, providers or legal requirements change. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Earlier practices are not retroactively described by a later policy.
25. Contact and privacy requests
Send privacy questions, rights requests or grievances to nikhilpanchal3010@gmail.com. This is the confirmed functioning public contact channel. A domain privacy address may replace it only after that address is created and tested.
